Fairfax Chimney and Fence did a wire-brush cleaning of our stainless steel chimney flue to remove some creosote build-up. The two guys who did the work were prompt and tidy, and the price was lower than I had been quoted by two other companies.

Our brick chimney was showing its age with some chipped mortar. Mason (current business owner, son of previous owner) gave a bid that was highly competitive with other bids received. He took photos of two chimneys from every angle, showed and explained where work was needed immediately, along with a couple options for work that would be helpful in the long term (but not absolutely needed now). We opted to do all suggestions, which included re-setting a couple rows of bricks, repointing mortar in a number of places, adding sealant, and installing a new crown. Every interaction was clear, prompt, courteous. I would use them again and would recommend them to friends.
