The staff at this store's carpet department are knowledgeable, friendly, experienced, and patient in explaining and clarifying details for customers. When we took in a sample of the carpet we needed to replace, due to flooding, they rated the quality immediately and promptly guided us to the sample of similar-quality carpet we should buy. They explained differences in padding as well, suggesting options for the carpet we decided to buy. They scheduled the installation and advised us by phone as to when the installers would be, giving us an arrival window for the installers. The installers were experienced, friendly, and neat: when they were finished, they asked us to come and look at the work and let them know what we thought of the job. It was perfect! The icing on the cake was that they completely cleaned up after themselves. No nail, no shaving of carpet - nothing - was left on or near the replacement carpeting. Home Depot delivered a top-quality service to us, from selection of carpeting and padding through installation. If/when we need more carpeting, we will definitely buy it and installation from Home Depot.
