We replaced about 2,000 sf of hardwood and engineered wood flooring in our house. Clawes priced the work at about $8,000 less than the other contractor/bidder. They promised a 3-day installation which included ripping out the existing hardwood on the main level and removing the engineered wood in the basement. I didn't believe they could do it that quickly - they did it in 2 days!! The flooring itself is excellent, and the crews were very professional, as well as fast. Highly recommend them.

Preparing to redo all the floors in our home, we sought 3 estimates. They were roughly comparable in pricing, but we were impressed with the crew at Clawes. They were professional and very responsive. Doug came out to do the estimate, and he was very throrough and answered all our questions. Kat and Joey back at the store answered emails the same day. Alan scheduled everything in the time frame I needed things to be done. Jim, who laid the tile, is meticulous and did exceptionally beautiful work. The hardwood team was amazing, and the carpet crew as well. They were all professional, polite, cleaned up all the mess and hauled it away, and left us with beautiful floors. And, our stairs no longer squeak.

The entire crew of the Oakton store was very helpful and our flooring installers did an excellent job. They completed 4 rooms in one day, quality work, great cleanup. Prices were very competitive. We were very pleased with their work and our interactions with them.
