ProDeck Installers did an outstanding job building our new screened porch and deck. We started by getting three bids from highly rated deck construction companies. Gerry, the owner, did the survey for the proposal. He asked lots of good question, listened to us, and provided sound advice when needed. Gerry provided a proposal that addressed everything we wanted at a cost that was substantially lower than the bids from the other two contractors. Once work got underway the ProDeck Installers crew worked 7:30 to 5:00 or so just about every weekday to get the job done. The craftsmanship of Gerry's crew is absolutely first class. Our new Trex deck and porch are very solidly built and will probably outlast our house. Kudos to Tony, Antonio, Hernan, and Laurentin (and others) for the outstanding work they did. We're really glad we went with Gerry and ProDeck Installers, and would definitely do it again. Something to be aware is that ProDeck Installers runs a pretty lean organization on the administrative side, so sometimes it takes some time to get in touch with Gerry because he spreads himself thin. But we found that patience was key and was rewarded. Another thing to be aware of is that ProDeck Installers does not do electrical work. Gerry made it clear that we would need to contract that separately, and provided us a referral to Hector Florentino at H&L Electric. Hector provided us a proposal that was substantialy less than what was included in the two other deck bids which did include electrical work. Hector coordinated the electrical work and inspections with ProDeck Installers and we were very happy with his work.

Pro Deck did an excellent job on our deck rebuild using Trex. We had a 40 year old deck/porch combo and were keeping the porch so the integration of the new composite deck with the existing porch was a big concern to us. Gerry came out a 2nd time with his project manager to look things over before giving us their final quote. They did really well with combining the two and talked to us about the minor field mods they had to do as they did the rebuild and married the new deck up to the existing screened porch. Their price was extremely competitive with the other three quotes that I got (all from Checkbook vendors), I would definitely use them again.
