I am eager to progress to classes taught by head trainer, Megan Judge. Puppy seminar prior to taking home pup is EXTREMELY helpful and well done. Puppy training classes, however, are a bit nebulous but a necessary step to the next level of training. Puppy trainer's style is more philosophical than hands-on. Clients tell me they are learning how to teach commands from YouTube rather than the Haus Juris trainer. More hands-on demos with each dog/handler in the class on how to teach beginning obedience commands would be much appreciated. I hear wonderful things about how dogs are rehabilitated there. Perhaps more education to clients about their training methods for puppies would clear up confusion and keep expectations realistic. Puppy clients just seem to be craving more step-by-step instruction.
