Jim (owner) arrived promptly a few days after I phoned asking for an estimate: loose/missing mortar on brick walkup, stairs, wraparound plus several dozen 40yo damaged bricks which needed to be replaced. He was friendly, clearly knowledgeable, provided several alternatives and patiently answered many questions. We scheduled the job for a few months out (this was at the start of the very busy spring season) and he kept me in the loop as the target date approached - and even wound up starting the job a little earlier than expected. Brodie, Henry and Edward spent three days grinding out all the old damaged mortar and laying down fresh mortar, replacing those broken bricks with well-matched equivalents as they went along. Power washed after the old mortar was removed, and chemical washed the entire finished job at the end. Cleaned up the site every day before leaving. Great communication throughout, great work at a great price, what's not to like?
