Great advice on tree care and disease, including leaving dead trees in the woods standing rather than spending for removal.

Tim is terrific. He advised me about a tree with some strange wounds on it, after looking over photos I'd sent him. Gave me sound advice - this was all 'on the fly' when I called him one morning. He is clearly very knowledgeable about trees and what can be done (or equally important, shouldn't be done) to protect them. I can recommend him highly, even though he didn't come out to do any work.

Tim knows his stuff about trees and the whole science of trees. I had a big oak in the backyard that looked like it was "crying" a black substance, which I thought was due to insect infestation. Well he explained that it was caused by a tree cutter using spikes to climb, and the holes he created allowed beetles or other insects to penetrate the bark, and that the substance oozing from the tree was a protective measure to isolate the insects. So no work required, but an incredible education from this Expert! You can trust him for sure!
