In May 2024, I experienced the exceptional service of A&A Septic Repair, a family-run business that truly understands the urgency and intricacies of septic system issues. On a Saturday afternoon, Rick, the owner, answered my call with a refreshing sense of immediacy. He meticulously began troubleshooting the cause of my septic alarm’s distress signal. Within thirty minutes, he had outlined a temporary manual management plan for my septic system and scheduled a follow-up for the earliest opportunity—Monday morning. Rick, alongside his son Jesse, arrived promptly to begin their workday with my septic concerns. They quickly identified the culprit: malfunctioning floats. With transparency and educational insight, they showed me the defective parts and efficiently replaced them, restoring my system’s functionality. Rick’s expertise shone through as he advised that the specific Zoeller model septic pumps in use might soon warrant replacement due to their less-than-stellar reputation for longevity. Approximately a week later, during a scheduled inspection by Fairfax County, one pump ceased operation mid-test. Rick’s response was one of thorough professionalism; he examined every facet of the system—from electrical connections, and control boxes, to liquid flow—to confirm that indeed, septic pump #1 had reached its end. The county inspector, present during this examination, concurred with Rick’s assessment. Without delay, Rick and Jesse sourced and installed two superior Zoeller pumps known for their durability. On January 24, 2024, in Oakton, VA, A & A Septic Repair Service, LLC. Manassas Rick Aits and his son, Jessie, repaired my septic system, installing replacement pumps, new float switches and an improved float suspension scheme. The septic system alarm was tripped by water buildup due to a failing pump. Rick showed me the system malfunctioning and clearly explained what needed to be replaced and my options. I watched him and Jessie perform the work and test the system. Later, they accompanied the inspector for signoff for the county. Rick was easily reached by text, communicated well, met appointments, and was courteous, professional, and considerate of my property and house. I highly recommend A & A Septic Repair Service.
