I only used HHOG for a short time, because my wife condition deteriorated so quickly I was caught flatfooted and without any arrangements for care beyond what I was providing. I called HHOC based on Checkbook and got a quick response from Dan the owner. Within a day Dan parched together some coverage from caregivers whom he could free up on short notice and then arranged for a live-in to start a week later. All the staff were very responsible and very caring and very much better able than I to help my wife in her last days. Dan responded quickly at any hour to my questions and requests, and provided more useful advice about our end-of-life options than anyone else I encountered--including doctors and hospitals, and insurance and hospice case managers. This sort of care is expensive but HHOG rates are quite competitive. Dan fully explained how he set his rates and billing was straightforward and clear. The HHOG employees I encountered seemed to like working for Dan, and at least one said she had worked for him for over 20 years--that's a good sign.

Took care of my Mother at night and the service was wonderful. Mom was up 5 times a night snd the aide was always right by her side helping her. Aide came in at 7 pm - took all her vitals and got her ready for bed. In the morning the aide gave her a bed bath and got her breakfast before she left. Mom was very comfortable with her and looked forward to seeing her each night Would highly recommend the agency

I highly recommend the services of the Home Health Options Group based on personal experience. My wife and I are responsible for the welfare of our cousin, who now requires full time care. Before we called Home Health Options, we went through a number of care options in various settings. Our cousin is very demanding, and previous health care settings were not a good match. We were running out of choices. We called Home Health Options, and to our surprise, we were able to talk in depth about our situation to Dan, the owner of the company. He was patient and understanding. He made us feel that there was hope for our situation. We discussed a range of options, including full and part time health care assistance. More importantly, Dan talked about his company’s commitment to compassionate and individualized care, based on our families’ unique needs. We were impressed with the company, and it was an easy decision to have Home Health Options provide care for our cousin. We immediately felt assured by the professional and compassionate care provided by the Home Health Options team. The quality of the care made a world of difference in the outlook and attitude of our cousin. She now engages with her caregivers and has developed a special bond with her aide. She is now calm, and has a positive outlook. What a difference the Home Health Options team has made! Our relationship with our cousin has improved too. We are so happy and relieved. We are indebted to all of the staff at Home Health Options. Their care has greatly improved the quality of life of our cousin. We recommend the company without reservation.
