When my HVAC installer found a dead bird in our furnace, we learned it was time to get our chimney cap looked at. I gave Leopold’s a call and Cory’s wife got back to me within a few hours to get me on the schedule right away. Two weeks later, Corey came out and within 10 minutes diagnosed that I needed a new chimney cap because the prior one was corroded by steam over the years. The one he put on was much more solid and he also didn’t upsell me on any unnecessary cleaning or extra repairs. I appreciate he pointed out that some of the black mold on the bricks should be cleaned off at some point, but didn’t create any false sense of urgency to get it repaired right then and there. I will 100% be calling Corey again for any future chimney service and cannot recommend him enough to my neighbors in NoVa.

Much in demand, as other raters noted, Leopold and his son are professional and honest in their approach. I have twice been told by chimney inspection services that my chimney needed to be rebuilt, and have twice gotten second opinions that nothing was really wrong with my chimney. Leopold was one of those second opinions. Their prices are very reasonable, and they won’t upsell you.

Pleased with straightforward communication and follow up and chimney work done, fit us in because of a leak even though they are very busy. Family operation, fair price, worth waiting for if possible.
