This company did the worst flooring job I've ever seen in my life. Day 1 was supposed to be sanding, installation and stain. They initially only sent two guys, with more crew arriving at 2-3 pm when it became obvious they were way behind. The crew was at our house the first day UNTIL 9:30 PM. When we were able to walk on the floors and check out the work 2 days -later we were shocked - All the thresholds, nosing, and edges were gauged and scraped and had never been sanded smooth, and were rough to the touch enough to be an actual hazard. Swirl marks all over the floors. The finish felt "gritty" to walk on, and it was clear they had not tacked or wiped before staining and poly. Tons of hair stuck in the finish. Two dried actual "puddles" of polyeurethane, raised to the touch. I complained to the office manager and they came out and rectified most of the issues, but it was shocking they were going to leave the floors in this condition, especially the hackjob on the edges. It was obvious they were rushing and had simply paint scraped the old stain off and never gone in with a detailed sander. Some of the edges and nosing is now permanently gauged. In addition to the flooring issues, there was dust absolutely everywhere blown into the backs of rooms (they left all the doors open the entire time), they smeared polyerethane on the brand new brass doorknobs, got stain all over the brand new installed carpeting, and broke our dryer vent plugging into the dryer outlet after we told them to be careful and only unplug it a certain way. All in all the job was so bad it bordered on comical.
