My experience with A/C repair was minimal at the time of the visit. Technician claimed the freon for my 14 year old unit (R410A) is being discontinued and the price would be very high. Technician attempted to upsell new unit that is still using the R410A refrigerant. Charged almost $800 for the visit. Three days later the unit was experiencing the identical issues. Called another hvac company. Bottom line, the system has been working well since.

We had a service contract with FH Furr and were considered a "Preferred Partner" and still received inferior treatment! We called for a/c repair and our calls were never returned (until over 1 week later and we had hired another company to repair our a/c). Also beware of their technicians trying to sell other service or repairs, that are not needed. Was told one time we needed to replace our furnace and it was only the fuse that needed replacing!
