We just had our vinyl siding replaced with James Hardie board. Preferred Siding is perhaps the best contractor I've ever worked with and I'm hard to please. Steve and Kathy Ginsberg are just a pleasure to work with. Steve is the only contractor that sat down with us and formulated a trim plan to go with the siding (as well as preventing us from making ‘stupid’ mistakes). All windows were done with drip caps and sills as opposed to just a box of trim around the window. The crew was great; very meticulous and handled the minor problems that cropped up very professionally. Steve (the owner) showed up many times along the way to answer questions and make some “on the fly” minor changes. Some siding from the supplier was rejected with minor flaws that I believe most contractors would just use. They aren't the cheapest but the you are paying for a high trim level and quality construction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Preferred to anyone; they are hands down the best.

These guys were like family by the end of the job, and were extremely responsive to a big job of replacing cedar with Hardie siding and trim. They only work with Hardie for siding, but will use other materials for trim.

Preferred Siding is a top notch small business. Steve (the owner) worked with us during the entire process, exceptionally responsive and we can not say enough great things about them. Provided many design options and was very straight forward about the process.
