A very impressive tree company, to judge by my experience. I had a huge (100-foot height, 24-inch diameter) dying oak in my front yard that needed to be removed. Of the four companies I contacted for bids, three of them highly rated on Checkbook, Riverbend was the least expensive. I was also impressed by my dealings with Herson Martinez, who came to give the estimate and explain how the work would be done. On the appointed day, the Riverbend caravan – truck-mounted crane, dump truck, and truck for the wood chipper – arrived and got set up within 20 minutes. Under the direction of the crew chief, Francisco (a really nice guy, to boot, as were all the workers), the job was expertly done in just 40 minutes with only five cuts necessary. The highly skilled crane operator removed each enormous section without damaging either the landscaping below or the surrounding trees. I appreciated the fact that the crew cut up the huge canopy section on the street, and likewise landed the trunk sections there also, thus sparing my lawn any damage. When the work was finished the crew did a meticulous clean-up of my yard and adjacent areas of my neighbor’s yard. Great work all around at a great price – a combination that can be hard to find these days. Five stars for Riverbend.
