RTEC has been taking care of my trees and shrubs for many years, including routine feeding and pest control. For many years I've had extended conversations with their visiting staff, who've provided a terrific education and who've persuaded me that they're on top of the challenges to my trees' and shrubs' well-being. I can't comment on their fees (I see some reviewers say they are high) but I can say that I sleep better knowing that they're on top of the pest/weather challenges to my plantings and likely have increased their longevity beyond what it would have been if I'd attempted to tackle these challenges myself using over-the-counter products.

From initial contact to billing after completion, the process was smooth. I met with an arborist at my house to assess my tree. He and I discussed options and he gave me a price for each. After we made our decision, I received a proposal with a section for the neighbors to give permission for RTEC to be on their property. On the scheduled day, a crew showed up and got to work. It was clear they knew what they were doing. When I came home the work was done and the yard was spotless.

I called RTEC for an assessment and appraisal of my Willow Oak, a HUGE, beautiful tree. Andy (the owner) and Eliana ( his assistant) came out to my property to see the tree. The issue at hand was whether to prune the tree roots along the side of the driveway (which had pierced the driveway in several places) or, to have the tree cut down. Andy, a Certified Arborist, provided a Master Class (about 20 minutes) on the various issues confronting the tree. After listening to his recommendations, I decided to have him prune the roots away from the driveway and to trim the tree. The pruning appeared to have been done professionally; however, the same could not be said for the cleanup (the trench was not adequately back filled with dirt). The tree trimming, which required three workers and a truck with special equipment, was done extremely well. I recommend RTEC.
