We researched all the highly-rated exterior waterproofers in the Checkbook. Drainage & Erosion Solutions was the only one willing to come to our area (Mt Vernon) and provide an estimate without ripping out walls. We don't actually have water in the basement (ever), just occasional dampness; so we were looking for an exterior solution to heavy runoff from our neighbor's property. We did get other bids from a local landscaper. For less money, DES provided a much more comprehensive solution. They excavated, inspected, and sealed the basement, fixed what grading they could, ran French drains, and replaced all the landscaping. We were amazed at how fast, friendly, thorough, and tidy it all was. And it's so nice to feel confident that our foundation is protected now.
