Caliber of work was strong but it was hard to get their attention during the design phase. Owner has strong preferences and at times it was a battle to have him incorporate our preferences.

Owner talks (and talks) a good game, but cost is fluctuating and vague. After several months of planning and a significant down payment, during which the owner assured us we could stay in the house during kitchen and bath renovation, he told us we would have to move out for 3 months. His tone changed to very rude in emails. We took the loss and found another, more straightforward design/build company.
