Overall care of my dog is excellent. All staff have been very helpful dealing with an ongoing health issue. The only downside is testing and drugs are expensive. For drugs the dog takes every month, I ask them to provide a prescription that I can use for an online drug provider (much less expensive).

They are very expensive and require some routine testing too often like fecal every 6mos. when other vets require every 12mos. Seems too often if your pet isn't having any issues. Just an example and for some reason the exceptional vets don't stay and they seem to have a major turn over in personnel. I've gone there for years but think it's time to move on.

My experiences at Merrifield are among the best veterinary experiences I’ve had in my life. I’ve lived long enough to have had 5 dogs. I highly recommend them.
