The installers did a poor job of installing the shoemolding - they got a staple in our base boards and most of the shoemolding had gaps where 2 pieces met.

Generally, Mill Direct was a pleasure to work with. I worked with the Fairfax store, with Kevin, who did a great job walking me through options and pricing. They often work with very large commercial projects but are not too busy or dismissive of smaller residential projects. We redid flooring in entire townhouse. The estimator was great to work with. The job, pricing, materials, and workmanship went very well. There were only two glitches, that weren't major: 1) we were waiting for a bullnose piece of laminate to tie flooring in to stairs. It was supposed to come within a few days, and when I didn't hear for two weeks I called and they said they had the piece but no one realized they had to call me back and schedule install; 2) the installers forgot to caulk the shoe molding in the kitchen so had to come back and do that; small but annoying. I would recommend them, but I would also say that for smaller home projects, you'll have to be present and engaged to make sure a couple of little things get taken care of.
