We recommend Clawes Carpet. They replaced the bound waterfall style carpet runners on 3 flights of wooden stairs in our Alexandria townhouse. Easy to work with picking out type of well wearing fiber and shade of new carpet. Great advice to use thicker padding - feels plush on bare feet. Prompt and professional installation within 2 weeks of first visiting their store. Took care with the hardwood flooring showing on stairs on both sides of carpet runner.

Salesperson was helpful and informed. Options explained clearly (we are trying to cover asbestos-containing asphalt tile in a large 750 foot part of the house). Have not committed to the job yet, still considering options.

Clawes installed vinyl plank flooring in our lower level; about 1000 square feet. I priced 3 different vendors for the same brand of flooring and they were the most reasonable. Completed the work in one day and the quality was excellent. Would definitely use them again.
