I had good work by AJ Long in 2019, so hired them to see if a slightly loud bathroom exhaust fan could be made quieter, and an outdoor coach light could be replaced. When the tech arrived, both worked. When he left, neither did. His suggestion for the exhaust fan made it MUCH louder, so he took the fan motor with him "to order another" He removed the coach light, which took forever and made no sense, (I was watching) then told me all new wiring would be needed, and a hole to accommodate this would be in my bedroom interior wall. (????) He also said an entire new bathroom fan might be needed...if I had known, I would not have had him touch the old one. Got the estimate for part 2...total cost ~$1100...A construction savvy friend said his ideas made no sense, he must not know old houses...so BEWARE. Long's may be overwhelmed BECAUSE of their good Checkbook rating, so they can't keep up and their work quality is failing.

AJ Long responded to my call in less than 24 hours. Electrician arrived and immediately understood my two issues and proceeded to quicky and efficiently repair and install. I was extremely impressed with his helpful and pleasant demeanor and his work at my house. Highly recommended.
