I did much research on hardwood flooring companies and decided on K@K Because of the high number of positive reviews and the many years of being in business. They were a bit higher than others, but the description of estimate provided more detail, and included painting which the others didn’t. The talented employee worked solo and put in extra hours the first day and returned the following morning to finish up. He replaced stair carpet and upper hallway carpet with beautiful oak hardwood that matched living and dining room floors. He put up plastic sheets to protect house when working, Would hire again!

Very large project. Replaced all the carpet in the house with new carpeting, and replaced the basement carpet with vinyl tile. Had some initial issues with the vinyl tile, and they came back and replaced the entire basement floor a second time (at no cost to me) and it is great. Worked with John Kim on the project.

I asked K&K for an estimate. I explained to them that I will not put money down, but I will pay for materials delivered or I will purchase the materials myself. General contractors do not pay for materials not yet delivered nor do they pay for labor not yet provided. As a homeowner one should have the same expectations. When I explained this to K&K hardwood floor, they replied we don't "work that way". I reminded them that they don't get to dictate terms to customers and explained I'd take my business elsewhere.
