We stressed how important it was to have quality work done. They told us they have a quality contractor who installed 3 doors in the salesman’s house. We said the same to the contractor who showed up, who said he installed over 100 doors. He showed up with what turned out to be an inexperienced helper. They stripped the screws going into the hinge, didn’t seal the threshold, and put the vertical handle on crooked. When we complained, Lowes wanted to send the same hacks back to us to correct. We spent months trying to get the, to correct it. Months later they sent someone else, who just replaced the screws and said the handle was ok. We’re stuck looking at the crooked handle. Totally unacceptable.
