First of all, the used car salesman was not pushy or demanding but showed me vehicles that interested me. There was no pressure to buy, and I found the car I wanted with the first test drive. After deciding on the car, I was given the chance to negotiate the price, and I reached a deal I liked. When I picked up the car the next day, it was like new and had obviously been detailed. I ended up with a terrific vehicle at much lower cost than a new one. I also got a 2 year, full service warranty that included oil changes and maintenance.

Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly has had my $1000 deposit for 13 months and no car delivered yet. The first vehicle came in after 10 months but was manufactured in Windsor, Ontario. I had insisted in my purchase order the car be assembled in Japan. They did not disclose the change and I had to discover it myself. Almost no communication from Jay Han, the salesman, as I waited months for the car. An no communication from him after four months from rejecting the Canadian built car about my car from Japan. Out of pure frustration I went recently to Lindsay Lexus in Alexandria. They found the exact car I wanted without the typical pile-on of options in 4 hours. I still had to wait two months, but nothing like the "you are lucky we will sell you a car" attitude of Pohanka. Since buying my car at Lindsay, numerous Lexus owners have told me they would never buy another car from Pohanka.
