Stay far away from this place. For years, I used Lens Crafter at the Ballston Mall so since that store closed I I tried the new Lens Crafter in Ballston Quarter in May 2022 and had the worst experience ever buying glasses. I purchased two sets of glasses and only after I paid was I informed it would take over a month to get the glasses. Then I had to go back three more times -- first time they made mistake with the prescription (and tried to blame my eye doctor) and had to redo the glasses (which took several days); then I had to have the progressive lens adjusted twice (several more days each time) so I could see (again they tried to blame my eye doctor saying I was given a wrong prescription). I am not new to wearing progressive lenses but the technicians seemed poorly trained and totally unaware about how to fit progressive lens.

I was surprised I couldn't get my glasses in an hour, but that's not available at this location; but I got them in about 4 days.

No one bothered to sit with me and check out whether the frames fit me, looked good on me, or counseled me. I have to take the glasses back because the close lens requires me to tip my glasses to read small print. I wish that I had checked with Consumer Checkbook before going there.
