I called David four times and left two voice messages and he never picked up or called me back. Maybe he's just too popular - but can't be reliably contacted.

David repaired two water stained ceilings, one of which he found the leak on the roof above due to unsealed flashing. He removed a handful of nonfunctioning security keypads around the house and a crack from house settling. He also repaired a ceiling in which a hornets nest had been ripped out of by an exterminatorr who did an an inadeqaute drywall repair. He came reliably each day and his rate was reasonable.

David Mason is totally old-school. He treats drywall repair like plaster repair. He does business over the phone and does not do email or texting. That can seem a bit frustrating, but he does return phone calls, shows up precisely when he says he will, and does excellent work. He did extensive repair work to walls and ceilings in 3 rooms and in a tall skylight tower which had been torn apart to install new water supplies to a third floor bathroom. All surfaces are flat and corners square. You can’t see where repairs were made. He is a one-man operation so some patience is required to get the job done, but he works steadily all day until it is finished. Drywall repair is a dusty business. David put some effort into cleaning up after himself and leaving the work area relatively clean. I recommend him without any reservation whatsoever!
