So, we haven't had much luck with lawn care companies. Used Paul's Best for putting in new sod in April 2021, and started using their mowing and lawn care program. Expected a better looking lawn with new sod - it was fine, just didn't blow us away. Biggest issue was too short mowing when summer heat hit and sloppy trimming - way too short at the edges causing the grass there to die. Looked like they trimmed horizontally versus nice, neat vertical trim. Not cool. Switched to Sweet Garden beginning of 2022. Leo is great and usually very responsive. Prices with Sweet Garden for both mowing and lawn care much better. Sweet Garden also put in some privacy trees in the back and did mulching throughout. Nicely done. The issue is Sweet Garden partners with NuLeaf for the lawn treatment. Lawn was looking amazing until the NuLeaf technician messed up and sprayed too high a concentration on the second application and killed big swaths of grass. Leo has been responsive, and NuLeaf is scheduled to fix this week. So still TBD. I would still recommend Leo and Sweet Garden for their service and prices. And if NuLeaf truly fixes the screw-up, I hope to be able to recommend them as well.
