I am somewhat conflicted about whether to recommend this clinic. There are two problems that I have with them. The first is that you have to wait a long time to get in to see them -- usually a few weeks. The second is that they have two vets. Dr. Pearce is wonderful. But Dr. Young is rude and pushy. On a recent visit my dog unexpectedly required a lot of lab work, and I couldn't pay the whole bill all at once. I paid more than half and told her that I would have the balance in two weeks. She stood in the middle of the office, berating me in front of the entire staff and warning me that I had better never try to do that again. She needn't worry, as I won't be back.

I believe these vets to be well qualified but I cannot give an overall recommendation to use them. One of the veterinarians in particular is very pushy about buying meds through their office and unnecessary services - to an uncomfortable level on multiple visits. She seemed to be miffed that I got my dog a rabies shot through Arlington County.

Dr Pearce was wonderful. She was only our vet for a short time for our dog Lilly, but we could not have asked for a better vet. We had an aging dog with kidney disease and she helped us during our dogs final days. She helped us while she was sick and she helped us while she was dying. She called us, she spent time with us and we felt supported at at difficult time. But most important she supported us in helping our dog Lilly. She was everything we could have wanted in a doctor for Lilly.
