They did very good work quality-wise and almost on time with a kitchen remodel. However, the designer was late to every meeting and didn’t consider our budget and allowances when making recommendations. Communication was terrible, bouncing back and forth with no one clear contact and not at all in line with what was promised as far as process and communication. They were also not transparent with some aspects of the costs.

Job didn't go as planned at all. Delays on work with 10 plus days with absence, poor communication of crew and managers, one inferior crew (replaced), one nasty field manager (provided no options, just his and yelled when not accepted), no top management involved to remedy obvious problems, damaged new expensive product, paint with limited prep, dripped new paint wo fixing, electrical work wrecked new paint and on and on. Call back needed soon after. Our remodel job seemed last in line during busy time for them so went on and on and it wasn't due to our payment price as what we contracted and paid was very reasonable based on similar bids obtained for exact same job. Need to step it up.

The quality of work has been outstanding and I will use them again and would certainly recommend MW.

However, plan on a great deal of patience. Being the first time working with a contractor has been frustrating largely because the construction industry works on its own timeline. Weather delays are understandable--there is nothing that can be done about that. But having a small-ish project seems to put one at the end of the line. There were often many weeks between stages of work. This may be normal in this industry--I don't really have a way to compare. When scheduled to work, most of their crews were on time and started work promptly. My issue was not knowing when the crews were scheduled to come beforehand. I would say communication with the site manager could be a bit better.

They were very good about estimating costs, but as a first timer, I would have appreciated much more guidance on material options for my decision making.
