Jose Tapia is a third generation concrete contractor. I had him remove an old, broken sidewalk and replace it. I wanted an aggregate surface and he was able to provide it. His crew worked feverishly and tirelessly to accomplish the project which was delayed a couple of hours by late arrival of the concrete. The walkway is perfectly angled and looks great. His crew was experienced and took pride in their work. Living in a historic district in DC makes everything seem complicated, but he made it easy. I did not obtain competitive bids and I know I paid a high price for this firm's work. But I had been wrangling with DC and with another firm for years and I am happy to have the work over and done with to my satisfaction.
