In Nov 2023 we had a new Trane heat pump installed (10 yr. warranty on parts) and for a year it worked great but in early December it quit providing heat. The original installer, Family Air Heating & Cooling, retired and that business's responsibilities were absorbed by Flood. They came out and said we needed a new sensor. After 3 weeks of waiting they finally came back but had the WRONG part. At that point we told them not to bother coming out any more.

John C. Flood's technician diagnosed a problem with our mini-split system (a power surge had wiped out the control board) and collected about $1700 from me to repair it. When completed, the technician said that, oops, there was a larger problem with the unit that could not be fixed, so I needed a whole new system. They refused to refund or give me credit for the $1700 I had given them already for the non-working unit. Then they cut off all communication. No one would return emails or phone calls. My credit card company determined that I was a victim of fraud and reimbursed me the $1700. No more dealings with John C. Flood!
