Can't say enough good things about dealing with this company. Their service techs are friendly, thorough, do excellent work and don't try and sell me a raft of extra services that I don't need like so many of the HVAC firms offering low cost specials. I selected Delta based on recommendations in "Checkbook" and am completely satisfied.

I called a number of companies about replacing a 20-year-old furnace-mounted humidifier that was no longer working. For two companies, I only reached an answering service and received calls days later from only one. Some companies quoted VERY HIGH prices. Another company was booked for weeks. When I called Delta Service, Skylar picked up immediately, was professional and friendly, and was able to schedule immediately for me an appointment for a free estimate, and after that an appointment for the installation just days later. The cost for an April Air 700M was also competitive. Even better, the person who did the estimate (Paul) arrived on time as scheduled (even though we had a snow/ice storm), and he and his assistant (Chris) installed the humidifier like they were top-notch surgeons performing a heart transplant: they anticipated each other's needs in a coordinated fashion and completed the job in less than 2 hours (and in a tight space). The only thing I did not hear was "scalpel" or "suction" when they passed to each other a flathead screwdriver or wire nuts. They also were very accommodating to me watching them work. I am a curious person who likes to learn as much as possible about appliances, and they did not make me feel as though I was bothering them or that I was in their way. They also answered my novice questions about the installation and how to operate the humidifier. I truly appreciated the service from Delta Service from the get-go to the completion of the job, and I would recommend them highly. I also think Skylar, Paul, and Chris should get pay raises or at least bonuses; they are the ones who make Delta Services a great company to use and recommend.
