I went to Dr. Tancreto for a root canal. The scheduling was fast and the work was completed quickly. My only issue is that I went home with prescriptions for 2 antibiotics but started to have increased pain a couple of days later. When I called in, early evening on a Friday, he prescribed a third more powerful antibiotic and told me I’d have to go to the ER for intravenous antibiotics if that one didn’t work. He seemed impatient that I was calling. There was no suggestion to come in at any point to verify that things were okay. I’ve had a root canal go badly, also on a Friday evening, years ago; that oral surgeon prescribed antibiotics as well, but she then had me come in for a follow up and did more work on the tooth. The matter resolved itself with this more recent root canal and the third antibiotic - but I wouldn’t go back to him.

Very competent endodontist. Fast efficient operator. Pleasant to work with also. ( I am retired DDS with a fairly good amount of knowledge of endodontics)
