Vanguard is a lost cost but highly qualified tool for investors of all kinds. The services they offer are designed to meet the needs of their clients. They are trustworthy and get to know each investor personally. They are effective in helping clients grow their money.

Vanguard is far superior to the typical wealth managers. Their competitive advantage: their folks work for salary so they have no incentive to push you into products you don’t need. Moreover their low cost (the advisors start at 30 basis points for the first 5 million (eg 30% of the standard fee- but fees go down from there and you get a real life advisor) plus the low cost of the underlying investments and the lack of transaction fees results in you keeping a lot more of your money. Moreover they do tax harvesting and other sophisticated processes. The only downside- they don’t do alternative investments (hedge funds etc) but on other hand you miss out on the high fees for that. I’ve personally compared them to some other brand name companies and I unreservedly recommend them.
