At the end of October, 2024, ATLAS Concrete Coatings installed a polyurea coating on our porch, porch steps, walkway and garage. Color chips were spread on the surface and then coated with Polyaspartic. My research, and their literature indicates that the coating is essentially indestructible, but the cost was a daunting $3000. Since it is guaranteed for 15 years, it seemed a good option, anyway, and it is alleged to outperform Epoxy by a wide margin. Anthony, who gave us the estimate and installed the coating, along with an assistant, did an excellent job on the installation. It looks very good; he was personable, responsive, and quickly returned to fix small problem with a track on the surface of the walk. Our steps have settled about 1⁄2 inch since they were replaced 10 years ago, and Anthony said he would caulk that for us when he came to give an estimate. So far, has not done that, he says because of his schedule and the weather. Later, Anthony returned and, for $300, installed stucco on an area of approximately 35 square feet on the damaged coating below the porch. He did not caulk the gap in the steps at that time. My research showed that stucco costs $6-9/square foot, so that was a reasonable price. There is a crack that appeared where a low spot in the wall needed a thicker coat, and he said he will come back and repair that, but for the reasons above, that has not happened yet, either, but he has promised to rectify both issues. When the two final touches are completed, I will revise my review.
