Unfortunately, we didn't learn it right away. Because they are so friendly and don't seem to overcharge we trusted them with our cars for a while. When the first issue arose (car with blown motor was purchased with their approval) we didn't say anything as we believed it was an honest mistake. Then, shortly after inspection, a front axle on our other car broke while I was driving (on 76!!!!) - it was rusted through...I understand it might not be part of inspection, but it something I would really rather to be warned about. That's just pure safety, they should have checked.
We're still using them for a little longer because we couldn't believe they are bad (silly us!). But then they had passed inspection on my husband's car which failed at another garage because of rusted through radiator mounts (we looked and they were barelly holding there). We specifically took the car to Bougon's to see if it passes because we didn't have the money to fix the car right away. And it passed.
Bougon's do work on time, they will accommodate you and their prices are very good. They just not good mechanics and I really wish I could say otherwise. Use them and assume the risk, but please don't inspect your kid's car there.
