Initial contact was very prompt. However, upon assignment of the nurse case manager, both communication and service provided was inferior. On several occasions, the nurse did not show up and did not bother to call to say she would not be coming. All she did was measure my father's blood pressure, ramble on about herself and leave. She did not provide any valuable service. In fact, she wasted my time waiting for her because I never knew if and when she'd show up. For instance, she'd tell me she would come the following week on Tues, not come, and then call half an hour prior to coming on a Wed. The physical therapist did not show up and did not call to notify us he would not be coming on several occasions as well. On the third visit, the PT talked for nearly an hour without doing much of any therapy and at the tail-end of that visit, he spent about 20 minutes telling me that I should put my father in a nursing home. His job was to provide therapy and not unsolicited advice on where my father should be placed. The PT also never bothered to tell us when his last visit would be. Finally, when the nurse case manager was first assigned, I asked for both PT and OT. She said the OT was abroad so we never had OT. This business only has one occupational therapist? I'm highly unsatisfied with this company.
