At the time I used this firm, I was on Medical Assistance. I was told by the Midwest audiologists I had no choice in the type of hearing aid I was eligible to receive. The upshot is I was given the most useless hearing devices imaginable. In addition to not improving my hearing, these aids needed cleaning about every two weeks by the audiologist. It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment, you can do the math. The aids worked poorly half of the time, and were useless the other half of the time. The final straw came when I complained to my MA insurance provider, Secure Blue; they told me I should have been eligible for a large selection of hearing aids, not just one specific hearing aid. I was lucky at that point, the VA determined I eligible veteran and finally I got hearing aids that worked. I pity all the MR's and seniors on MA seniors, and others, who are subjected to the same manipulation I experienced.
