I went with Linner Electric (or Mercury Electric, depending on where you find the phone number) after having several estimates done. The guy who gave the estimate, Chris, was fairly unprofessional (borderline rude) but he came in with the lowest bid, so I went with them. In my opinion, and according to the inspector, they did fairly poor work. Approximately 25% of the staples used to hold up the romex (NM) cable that they used were barely hammered in. Many of the nails were bent over as if somebody swung the hammer blindly at the staple one time and then moved on. The inspector said that this wasn't really a safety issue (after checking to make sure none of the bent nails had pierced the cable shielding) but that it was clearly very poor work. He said that he'd done numerous inspections for this company before and hadn't noticed this kind of thing, but that he would pay more attention to their work in the future. They also installed the wrong breaker panel on the first try and had to come back and replace it with the correct one. It was somewhat difficult to explain to them that I didn't want to pay full price for the second panel since they had already charged me full price for the first one. I ended up only paying for the difference between the cost in the panels, but not without arguing. I am currently searching for another company to do the remainder of the electrical work on my house, as I'm not giving any more of my money to Linner/Mercury.

I called them 3 times over 2 days and was told each time that someone would return my call. I never received any calls. I would not recommend a company with such poor customer service
