My son brought his Honda Civic to Richfield Bloomington Honda for a simple oil change. When the oil change was finished, the technician gave him, unsolicited, a 3 page document with pictures of parts of his car, saying that many additional repairs needed to be done now. There was no evidence that most of these repairs really needed to be attended to, in fact many of them represented servicing that had already been done within the last year or so. The employee recommended them to be done right then, and in fact pressured my son to agree to this. The total bottom line cost was over $2300! This is blatantly corrupt business practice! A similar thing happened to my son a couple of years ago at the same place, indicating that this is a common practice at Richfield Bloomington Honda.

I have bought and serviced cars here for years, but wait time and costs have increased dramatically. They also routinely recommend additional repairs that turn out not to be necessary. (Replacing 1-year old tires, for example.)

Have used them for most service on two cars we bought from them 13.5 and 7.5 years ago.
