They did 2 jobs for us. First was the install of a new AC unit. They installed it well below grade, without a platform of any kind (I was told later this is unusual) and not level (being unlevel can impact the life of the unit). The unit floods on the bottom. When I requested a remedy, they were unwilling to fix it, saying that some recent landscaping had somehow lowered the unit relative to the area around it (not true). 2nd was a range hood. They had a very hard time figuring out how to install it - a standard hood at a standard ceiling height - and at one point told me it couldn't be done. My contractor had to step in and show them how to do it. Once complete, it was fine.

Midland came to our condo building to uninstall then reinstall 15 HVAC units installed by a fast talking unscrupulous installer. Admittedly it was huge project working with the city inspectors and there were some frustrations on timelines, but in the end it was successfully completed. I would recommend them.

I called a few companies on news year eve. Midland heating was the only one that could come out that night. The tech arrived during the window he said he would. After only a few minutes he was able to diagnose the issue. He offered a few options to repair it. Long story short within 3 hours of calling them my furnace was up and running. I thought the bill was beyond fair for service on a holiday. Needless to say they will be the only company I call from now on and the company I recommend to my friends and family.
