Recommend with note of caution. Scherer is good company and provides good quality doors. We purchased fiber glass front door and Larson storm door and installation. Sales person was great (and patient) in helping us select the right doors. Good service from sales. Installers are sub contracted. The one we had did a pretty mediocre job, though Scherer did have an adjuster come out and make things right. If I were to buy other doors or windows, I'd want to somehow qualify the installer. Sherer removed old windows and installed 3 Marvin double hung windows a few years ago and the installer was fantastic. Absolutely no interior plaster patching or touch up painting required after the installation! Amazing! So, good company, be careful selecting the installer.
