2020 Honda CRV had a sudden and mysterious breakdown of the computer/electrical system that rendered the car unable to drive. Had it towed to the dealer where it was purchased on the Friday before New Year’s Day. Was told that they would not be able to even look at it until January 2. As it was, it was not looked at until late in the day on January 3. They had trouble diagnosing the problem and finally determined on Friday that a short occurred… fuse blown in “the harness of the rear view mirror” that controls many functions. Parts needed to be ordered and the new “fix-it” date was supposed to be the following Wednesday, January 8th. Got a phone call late on Tuesday that the technician assigned to the job had to go to a training session at Dunwoody and so the job was scheduled for Thursday January 9th. But no… the technician called in sick that day and the car repair was moved to Friday, January 10. During this two week period, there were NO loaner cars available. Very frustrating to try to juggle cars amongst family members. It seems to me that there should be better logistics/scheduling in the service department. It felt like we were constantly being moved to the back of the line.

Had to take my car here because my local preferred mechanic wasn't able to get me in in the short time frame I needed. Never again! Felt misled the whole time by condescending staff. Charged exorbitant price for fix that didn't even take and hour and when I questioned it, they just said they don't charge an hourly rate, they charge a standard fee, so it doesn't matter if they finish in 3 hours or 15 minutes. Wasn't given any options for my fix, only the one really expensive one. I checked in with my mechanic, who said there were other (much cheaper) options. So disappointed, I won't ever take a vehicle there again, and have almost sworn off buying a Honda again.
