Unless you are willing to play round robin (taking any available therapist) the wait is routinely 5 to 7 weeks to get an appointment. What also complicates the issue is that the therapists are people with busy lives so they can only provide their availability to work 4 weeks in advance (which I understand). The ME business model is to continue selling memberships unceasingly whether there are enough therapists within their Twin Cities locations to cover the promise of one-hour massage per month per member or not. There is no guarantee, if you have 2-3 favored therapists, that a member can get an appointment every month, in fact it's highly unlikely. If you are a person who requires firm or deep massage, round robin scheduling will get you an appointment within 2-3 weeks but most likely it will be a therapist that practices only light massage. I have been a member for 10 years and have seen the decline of availability to the point of ridiculousness, but I have so many unable to be used 1-hour credits on my account it would be hard to walk away. It has become obvious that ME prioritizes profit over commitment to membership benefits every day. Your money would be better spent on a massage therapist attached to any chiropratic office.
