I have to separate the sales from the install. The sales guy was OK, but he lied about one important point. One of my questions to him was whether the installers were Leaf Filter employees or subcontractors. It wasn't critically important, but I wanted to know in case there were issues later to help apportion liability. In no uncertain terms he told me the installers were Leaf Filter employees. That was not true; the installers were subcontractors. They did an excellent job and I have no issues with their work, and after a year the gutters have performed well. But these gutters are very expensive, and lying to customers is not a good way to do business. You have to wonder what else they may lie about.
