Because of a problem with another vendor, I had reason to purchase two boxes of flooring (as emergency backup) from Floors Etc. Outlet. The problem vendor wanted $380. This provider charged me $150. The problem vendor said “oooooh, special custom order, no returns.” Floors Etc. said “if the boxes are in good shape we will take it back. As it turned out not only did they take it back three months later (like I said, problem vendor), but he said he’d be down in DC on Sunday so if I wanted to bring it to him there he’d save me the drive to Timonium. And he did. I wouldn’t expect that kind of stellar service, but even if they treat you half as well as they did us I’d expect you’ll still be quite happy to make the trip and save big time. If you aren’t into an Outlet store, they also are attached to a retail design store, though I don’t know how far their work range is.
