Tim Whistler replaced our gas water heater, kitchen faucet and a leaking toilet. Highly recommended. Remington supervised the work and everything was completed in a day, with the required inspection scheduled for two days later.

I used to really like this company and they were my go-to for repairs. I always found Tim himself to be knowledgeable, personable, and reasonable, so it was worth it to me to pay a somewhat higher price. But I had a recent experience that was so negative I felt compelled to share it here, and I won't be going back. We had a leak under our kitchen cabinets that we thought was the dishwasher, but weren't sure. One of Tim's guys came out and poked around, and told us the dishwasher was fine but we actually had a leak under the kitchen sink. We paid $200 to have a part replaced. The very next day, we run the dishwasher and we have water pooling again. This time I took a look myself and within 5 minutes I was able to spot the leak from the dishwasher. A 30 cent part from Home Depot and a couple youtube videos later, I had it repaired. (Why I didn't just do it myself the first time around, I don't know. Lesson learned.) Now I get that sometimes a plumber gets it wrong, though the leak was so obvious once I spotted it that it was hard to believe a professional could have missed it. But the real problem started when I called Tim's team back to explain what happened. They point blank refused to refund us the $200, claiming that since we did have a small spot leak in that sink, the repair was justified. Never mind that it was barely a drip that we never noticed, and that they completely missed the actual problem. It was an outrageous conversation. We won't be back.

Received an estimate for a leak under the utility sink. It involved replacing the sink to get to the wall and associated hardware and work. Estimate was very high, and their cost to provide a replacement sink was about 5 times what it would cost in the store. I received another estimate, and the work was done without removing the sink. Cost was less than one-third Whistler's estimate. I used Whistler previously to replace my water heater and thought that the price was a bit high, but work was satisfactory. I would get multiple estimates if considering using Whistler.
