I can't recommend Thompson's Kung Fu highly enough. Mr. Thompson has many years of experience teaching children, teenagers, and adults of all ages Tai Chi and Kung Fu. His prices are reasonable. He teaches group and individual classes. You can start from any level of experience, including zero experience, which is how I started. I had not done any martial arts before I started taking Tai Chi classes with Mr. Thompson. Later on I moved from Tai Chi to Kung Fu, but you can stay with Tai Chi if that's more your speed. Martial arts is an amazing form of exercise. I gained balance, flexibility, and strength. My muscles became more toned without becoming bulky. My posture improved. And I look better in my clothes! Mr. Thompson provides detailed instruction on how to do forms, stretches, and balance exercises properly. He answers questions about how to practice at home so that you improve. He tailors individual classes for each student, finding what works so that the student benefits. He is very professional.
