I had a great experience with Freda. She arrived promptly, ready to work. She helped me choose paint colors and decide whether to paint the risers and spindles on our stairs. She also helped me with a decision I was trying to figure out about whether or not to use a different table in my dining room. Freda also helped me with finding chairs that would work with the table. It came out looking much better than it had before. Freda also supplied me with some vendors to work with. She was also more than willing to look at pictures of chairs I sent her even after the appointment via email. I hope to consult with her again. I need help making some decisions about window treatment and more.

A friend recommended Decorating Spaces and we worked with the company on two separate occasions. The first time was in 2019 when we added another room onto our house and were having trouble coming up with paint colors for addition and adjacent renovations. Freda came to the house and was incredible to work with: she was thoughtful and knowledgeable, and listened carefully to what we wanted. The resulting color choices were glorious. We still revel in them. This past summer (2024) we went back to her, because we were having the rest of the house painted. Once again, she visited and was thorough, precise, and knowledgeable. She got us larger samples of the paints we were considering almost immediately from the manufacturer (Benjamin Moore), it seemed, as they arrived really fast. We made most of our decisions right on the spot, in consultation with her, but there were a couple that proved a bit trickier. I fear we pestered her endlessly via email about alternative choices and what things would like if we went darker or lighter in a certain palette or chose something altogether different. She always responded quickly and thoughtfully. We appreciated the care and patience she took to consider our needs and work with us. The results are every bit as wonderful as the first time around. We would work with her again in a heartbeat!

Freda was absolutely great to work with. We worked with her on a kitchen remodel and she really helped us put all the pieces together. There were so many decisions to make, and she listened to us and what we wanted and helped to really us figure out how to get there. Now that the kitchen is done (and it's beautiful) she's helping us work through some choices/updates for the rest of the house.
