I have worked with Freda of Decorating Spaces several times now. She is great to work with, patient, and a good listener. She gives you a few color choices so the ultimate choice is yours. She explains why the colors work in a particular room. She will recommend colors that sometimes get you to stretch a little -- the color of our dining room is fabulous and we love it, but we never would have thought of it without her input. Freda recently helped us with selecting colors for a new beach house -- for every single room. She is extremely knowledgeable, with several years of experience and also has studied paint colors and works with them regularly so she knows the nuances. I hight recommend Freda to anyone who needs help choosing paint colors. Her fees are very reasonable too, so totally worth it.

I called Freda Resnick of Decorating Spaces to get a consultation on paint colors for basement, basement bathroom, kitchen, upstairs bathroom, master bathroom, and living and dining rooms. It was amazing how quickly Freda was able to initially find five paint colors which coordinated with the rooms' flooring and furnishings so quickly. Note that Freda was working with a color wheel that had hundreds of colors. Once given five colors I was able to narrow the candidates down to two. Freda sent paint samples very quickly after our consultation. Her fee was very reasonable and this was money well spent resulting in a high level of satisfaction.

Freda is a wealth of knowledge & a rich repository of resources; she is easy to talk to and open to questions, comments, and concerns. Meeting with her gives you an opportunity to have an objective view of household issues, both big and small. She's able to offer commentary and suggestions on a wide range of subjects - from cabinet door knobs to lighting fixtures to floor coverings to paint colors to furniture placement et al. She gives you ideas and insights on things you maybe never thought about. An appointment with Freda is well worth the time and money and will leave you with ideas, recommendations, and food for thought about the place you call home.
