Jarman Co. recently completed an extensive renovation of the rear portion on my row house. Because of significant water damage the first & second floor rear rooms had to be completely replaced and the rear deck upgraded . Jarman handled everything: architectural plans, city permitting & sub-contractor supervision, The quality of the work & the materials used were outstanding. Construction details exceeded city requirements (e.g., 2x6 framing, 6x6 support posts). I have used Jarman with full confidence since the 1980's. Significantly several of the workers have been with Jarman since I began using them

This review is for the total remodel of two bathrooms. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the work.

Jarman was recommended by my insurance company following fire damage to a neighbor's home in September 2014. Jarman Co. worked with my insurer, so I had no difficulty getting any additional approvals needed. rebuilt my open, 2nd floor terrace (framing, roof (flat), ceiling, recessed lighting, electrical system, special trim, copper gutter and down spout. The obtained building permits, secured design approval for the US Arts Commission (mandated for all properties facing Rock Creek Park). Iwas kept informed of the status of the project, which was delayed due to extremely bad winter (the project was all outside work) and difficulty in obtaining a hearing before the arts commission. The Art's commission approved the project in late April 2015 and Jarman completed the repairs in about 3 weeks. They repaired items such as sections of my copper downspout, insured that work meet current code standards and corrected errors by previous roofing contractors (added flashing, etc. Jarman's contracts were thorough and I was most impressed by the scope of work specifications that included detailed labor and material costs, etc. .
